Rug up and come and experience winter and autumn with us at Alpine Lodges Stanthorpe. Cool crisp days and invigorating cold nights are whats on offer in the cooler months at Alpine lodges. The subtropical highland climate, creates cold frosty winters, clear blue skies and magical sunsets. Temperatures below freezing are common in winter with many days where the minimum temperature drops below 0 °C each year.  Sleet and light snowfalls are occasionally recorded, with the last occurrence being in June 2013. How long since you have experience WINTER?

Nothing compares to summer on the Granite Belt. Warm days, occasionally hot with little humidity with some rain falling as thunderstorms. Compared to the rest of Queensland, Stanthorpe and the nearby regions experience well below average day time temperatures and overnight temperatures. Stay with us in spring and summer for a deep and restful night’s sleep and amazing thunderstorms.
